James the Rat King

QR Experience

Follow the James the Rat King QR Experience along the Rat Trail at South Bank - it tells the story of the Bubonic Plague in Brisbane from 1900-1907, while giving information about infectious diseases and bringing historical facts to life. To be able to experience the whole story, you need to scan the QR codes found along the trail. You can find the location of these spots by visiting the MAP page. The more spots you activate, the more you'll learn about the plague - and at the end, you can watch the whole animated film!
